Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Takes a Loss

Oak Grove was the 35-29 winner over Wayne County when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Oak Grove Warriors fell 42-35 to the Wayne County War Eagles on Thursday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oak Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Wayne County, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Oak Grove and Petal will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Wayne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
