Volleyball Recap: Andover Gets the Win

The Andover Huskies beat the Champlin Park Rebels 3-1 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

The win didn't come easy: Champlin Park scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 14-25, 25-20, 26-24.

Among those leading the charge was Kyle Enwright, who had 21 assists and eight digs. Those eight digs gave him a new career-high. Luke Fenton also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

Andover's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Champlin Park, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Andover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Southland on the 3rd. As for Champlin Park, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Anoka at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
