Soccer Game Preview: Grayslake North vs. McHenry

The Grayslake North Knights will take on the McHenry Warriors at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Grayslake North is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Crystal Lake South on Tuesday as they made off with a 6-1 win. With Grayslake North ahead 3-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Meanwhile, McHenry and Mundelein finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

The victory made it two in a row for Grayslake North and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two games. McHenry's draw makes their record 1-1-2 this season.

Everything went Grayslake North's way against McHenry in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Grayslake North made off with a 4-1 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
