Soccer Recap: Rocky River Comes Up Short

Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Independence Patriots, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Independence this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in March.

Rocky River's goal came courtesy of Sasha Munoz, which was the first she's scored this season.

Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-2. As for Independence, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.

Coincidentally, Rocky River and Independence will both be playing Garinger the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will head out to face the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Ravens will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
