Soccer Recap: Naches Valley Comes Up Short

Naches Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Granger Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Naches Valley of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Naches Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Granger, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season.

Naches Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granger, they will head out to challenge Wahluke at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wahluke will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Granger surely won't give up without a fight.
