Volleyball Recap: Fontainebleau Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Parkview Baptist

Fontainebleau faced Parkview Baptist in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2016.

Fontainebleau's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-14. As for Parkview Baptist, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-10.

Coming up, Fontainebleau will venture away from home to face off against Slidell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkview Baptist, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Byrd on the 25th.
