Recap: Trinity Celtics vs. Moundridge Wildcats
The Trinity Celtics lost against the Moundridge Wildcats back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Trinity suffered a tough 72-46 loss at the hands of Moundridge. Trinity has not had much luck with Moundridge recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Moundridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bear Moddelmog out in front who scored 17 points along with two steals. Moddelmog hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Kaizer Kanitz, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Trinity now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Moundridge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will take on Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moundridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Sedgwick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Moundridge is coming into the contest with 12 straight wins on the road, so Sedgwick is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
