Football Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Caleb Muszynski and Zander Stillgess

North Bay Haven Academy lost against North Florida Christian back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers fell 26-20 to the Eagles.

North Bay Haven Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Zander Stillgess and Caleb Muszynski. Stillgess rushed for 165 yards, while Muszynski rushed for 40 yards and a pair of scores.

Even if they lost, North Bay Haven Academy's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Tyler Murzyn was especially locked on to North Florida Christian's QB and sacked him twice. Another thorn in the Eagles' side was Bear Bryant Siegal, who picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles.

A big part of North Florida Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between Tommy Coyne and his top target Kyle Estimond. Coyne threw for 225 yards and two TDs while Estimond picked up 83 receiving yards and one touchdown.

North Bay Haven Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Florida Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

North Bay Haven Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 55-6 loss against Bay on the 5th. As for North Florida Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-7 victory against Indian Rocks Christian on the 5th.
