After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southridge, South Spencer was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Boonville Pioneers 53-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rebels have posted against the Pioneers since December 28, 2018.

South Spencer's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Boonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
