Soccer Recap: Loudon's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Loudon had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Claiborne Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with an 8-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Loudon needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

The victory got Loudon back to even at 6-6-1. As for Claiborne, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8-1.

Looking ahead, Loudon will welcome Lenoir City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Claiborne, they will venture away from home to take on Volunteer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Claiborne will be up against Volunteer's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.9 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
