Volleyball Preview: Hoover Huskies vs. Roane County Raiders
Hoover has gone 9-1 against Roane County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Hoover Huskies will face off against the Roane County Raiders at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hoover has 12 straight wins, Roane County has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
On Tuesday, Hoover beat St. Albans 2-0.
Hoover easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-7.
Hoover found their leader in underclassman Braelyn Adkins, who had 13 digs. Adkins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Hoover was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They are a perfect 10-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Roane County came up short against St. Marys on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Hoover has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 42-6-1 record this season. As for Roane County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18-1.
