Brookville is on a three-game streak of home losses, and North Clarion a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Brookville Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Clarion Wolves at 4:00 p.m. North Clarion took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Brookville, who comes in off a win.
Brookville is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Keystone with a sharp 16-5 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Luke Burton was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He has become a key player for Brookville: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three hits, but 3-12 otherwise.
In other batting news, Brookville got a massive performance out of Gage Miller, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave Miller a new career-high. Will Shofestall was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Brookville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, North Clarion started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Brockway. They fell just short of the Rovers by a score of 7-5 on Friday.
North Clarion saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Pappas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That RBI was Pappas' first of the season. Another was Andrew Stanley, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Brookville's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for North Clarion, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
