Lewiston has gone 9-1 against Moscow recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bengals will head out on the road to challenge the Bears at 3:00 p.m. Lewiston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, Lewiston earned an 8-3 win over Lakeland. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bengals.
Jenna Barney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.

Kaci Kiblen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played. Reagan Hurley also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.
Lewiston's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Moscow, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lewiston hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. However, it's not like Moscow struggles in that department as they've averaged .382. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lewiston was able to grind out a solid win over Moscow in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 15-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
