Paige Liezert was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Lexi Howard was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
