Russellville entered their tilt with Priceville on Thursday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Priceville Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-3 last Tuesday.

Ty Engelthaler was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Engelthaler wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Hawkins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Ty Willis also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Russellville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Priceville only posted an OBP of .148.

Russellville pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Priceville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
