Baseball Recap: Penfield Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Penfield's offense. They came up short against the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves on Thursday, falling 11-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penfield will square off against Palmyra-Macedon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they will face off against Halifax County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Comets have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
