Basketball Recap: Forsyth Central Has No Trouble Against Alpharetta

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Forsyth, Forsyth Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Alpharetta Raiders as the Forsyth Central Bulldogs made off with a 49-26 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Forsyth Central's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Alpharetta, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Forsyth Central and Alpharetta could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Forsyth Central (ranked 319th) will meet Lambert (ranked 96th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alpharetta will take on Denmark at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 272 places (502 vs. 230).
