Baseball Game Preview: North Crowley Panthers vs. Weatherford Kangaroos

For the second straight game, North Crowley will face off against Weatherford. The Panthers will head out to square off against the Kangaroos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

North Crowley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Weatherford on Tuesday. They fell 6-1 to the Kangaroos.

For Weatherford's part, the team relied heavily on Bryce Smith, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was Smith's first of the season. Caiden Hubbard was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

With the win, Weatherford broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-12-1. As for North Crowley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
