Softball Recap: St. Catherine of Siena Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against University Liggett on Friday, St. Catherine of Siena Academy came back down to earth. The Athletes fell 5-2 to the Central Catholic Fighting Irish on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Athletes of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

St. Catherine of Siena Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Central Catholic, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

While St. Catherine of Siena Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
