Recap: Broken Bow Savages vs. Ada Cougars
The Broken Bow Savages and the Ada Cougars squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Broken Bow Savages had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to the Cougars. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Devon Maccollister was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points for Ada. Another player making a difference was Carter Colombe, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Broken Bow's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Ada, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-7.
Broken Bow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ada will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Crossings Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 29th.
