Valley Christian pushed their record up to 8-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.7 points per game. As for Sacramento Adventist, their record is now 10-11.

Valley Christian beat Sacramento Adventist 91-80 in their previous matchup on January 9th. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Sacramento Adventist's Tristan Plesea, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 14 rebounds.
