Volleyball Recap: Verrado Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Verrado was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Paradise Valley on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vipers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon View Jaguars on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vipers in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Verrado still got an impressive performance from Elleana Bejarano, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Verrado's loss dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Canyon View, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-10-3.

Verrado has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Youngker on the 23rd. As for Canyon View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Buckeye on the 27th.
