Football Recap: Pisgah Comes Up Short

Pisgah had taken Franklin down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Bears fell 37-26 to the Panthers. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Pisgah's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Franklin, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pisgah is set to square off against their familiar foe West Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Franklin will challenge rival Tuscola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
