Columbia waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They snuck past the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies with a 49-44 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-54 on January 7th.

Columbia got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Christain Expose out in front who posted 18 points. Expose has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tra Lewis, who scored nine points and three steals.

Columbia is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for Forrest County Agricultural, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Columbia Wildcats take on the Bay Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forrest County Agricultural, they will square off against Lawrence County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
