Volleyball Recap: Santa Monica Comes Up Short

Santa Monica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Centennial Golden Hawks.

Santa Monica's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Santa Monica wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against San Marcos on the 4th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Long Beach Poly on the 3rd.
