Basketball Recap: Bel Air Has No Trouble Against Horizon

Bel Air won the last time they faced Horizon and things went their way on Friday too. The Bel Air Highlanders enjoyed a cozy 57-40 victory over the Horizon Scorpions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Matt Hernandez was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 9 en route to 17 points. Marcos Garcia was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Bel Air's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Horizon, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Parkland the next time they take the court. Bel Air will host Parkland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Horizon will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
