Basketball Game Preview: Fairview Warriors vs. Independence Blue Devils

Fairview is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will face off against the Independence Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, Fairview came up short against St. Edward and fell 78-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (65), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Independence's game on Wednesday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 62-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Medina Christian Academy.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Fairview didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Independence in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 61-57 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
