Baseball Recap: Douglass Comes Up Short

Douglass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to the Mount St. Mary Rockets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Wednesday.

Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mount St. Mary, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-7.

Coming up, Douglass will head out on the road to challenge Northwest Classen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount St. Mary, they will be playing at home against Heritage Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
