Football Game Preview: The Pinnacle Timberwolves vs. Jefferson Saints + How To Watch

The Pinnacle Timberwolves will head out to take on the Jefferson Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The Pinnacle is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 40 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Prospect Ridge Academy on Friday. They fell 21-8 to the Miners. The game marked the Timberwolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, The Pinnacle had strong showings from Aj Duran, who gained 170 total yards, and Caleb Arellano, who picked up 86 receiving yards and one score. Arellano was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 50 yards.

Jefferson played against Denver West two weeks ago and lost via forfeit.

The defeat snapped The Pinnacle's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

The Pinnacle came up short against Jefferson in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 32-19. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
