A Season-Best Effort from Dax Varnadore Leads Fort Payne over Gadsden City
Fort Payne was led to victory by Dax Varnadore, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Varnadore threw for 144 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Buckhorn was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Shamarion Landrum did his best to prevent it. Landrum was dynamite, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Buckhorn now has a losing record at 3-4. Landrum and Buckhorn will square off against Mae Jemison on Thursday.
