Brooks had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Columbia Eagles a 10-0 shutout. The Lions' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Brooks pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooks will venture away from home to face off against East Lawrence at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia, they will square off against Ardmore at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
