Baseball Recap: Northfield's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Northfield can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Whitko Wildcats. For the Norsemen, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Korbin Haupert was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.

Northfield's record now sits at 5-12. As for Whitko, their record is now 9-6.

Looking ahead, Northfield will head out on the road to challenge Mississinewa at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Whitko, they will take on Elwood at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
