Newington and Conard are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Nor'easters will venture away from home to take on the Red Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Newington got the win against Windsor by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Nor'easters.

Newington never let Windsor on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Conard had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Spartans.

Conard got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 25-20, 29-31, 15-13.

Newington's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Conard, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Newington came out on top in a nail-biter against Conard when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Nor'easters repeat their success, or do the Red Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
