On Thursday, Victory Christian Academy made easy work of Liberty Charter and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
One reason for the win was Victory Christian Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-19, 25-17.

Victory Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brad Chier, who had 16 digs, 14 kills, and two blocks. Chier has been hot for a while, having posted seven or more kills the last 14 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Dill, who had 14 kills, five digs, and three aces.
Meanwhile, Mount Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Christian.
Mount Miguel was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-18.
Mount Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Victory Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

However, it's not like Mount Miguel struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.7 aces.
