Basketball Recap: Weeping Water Takes a Loss

Weeping Water played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 54-29 to the Sacred Heart Irish. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians have suffered since January 9th.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Josey Dieter, Brinkley Mcadams, and Kalison Miller posted six points each. Dieter also led the team in rebounds with seven.

Weeping Water's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Sacred Heart, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.

Looking ahead, Weeping Water will square off against Tri County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season. Sacred Heart has already played their next contest (against Lewiston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
