Berean Christian is a perfect 3-0 against Piedmont since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Berean Christian is taking a road trip to challenge Piedmont at 4:00 p.m. Berean Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Berean Christian is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Northgate just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 11-2 to the Broncos. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Olivia Kundysek made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Leila Rhoads, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piedmont). Everything went their way against Hayward on Thursday as Piedmont made off with an 18-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Highlanders considering their one-run performance the match before.

Miya Fujimoto made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That hit marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sa'Mara Levi, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Samantha Ronen was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Piedmont always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Piedmont back to even at 3-3. As for Berean Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Berean Christian beat Piedmont 6-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2018. Will Berean Christian repeat their success, or does Piedmont has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
