Soccer Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

South Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Ironton Fighting Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ironton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

South Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Ironton, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

South Point didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-2 loss against Chesapeake on the 6th. As for Ironton, they have also already played their next match, a 4-0 defeat against Fairland on the 2nd.
