Basketball Recap: Litchfield Comes Up Short

Litchfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Dassel-Cokato Chargers 81-46. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-49 back in December of 2024.

Litchfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Dassel-Cokato, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Litchfield has already played their next contest (against Rockford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dassel-Cokato will challenge New London-Spicer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New London-Spicer will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Dassel-Cokato surely won't give up without a fight.
