Orangefield is still undefeated this season after their contest against Vidor on Tuesday, but Vidor came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Bobcats came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Pirates. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2025.

Orangefield's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Vidor, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Orangefield will square off against Port Neches-Groves at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Vidor, they will face off against West Fork at 10:50 a.m. on Thursday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 13.7 runs per game this season.
