Flag Football Game Preview: Austin Black Bears vs. Grissom Tigers

The Austin Black Bears will take on the Grissom Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Austin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Grissom likes a good challenge.

Austin's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 39-0 win over Huntsville. Fans of the Black Bears have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Grissom fell victim to Athens and their airtight defense two weeks ago. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles.

Austin pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 33.8 points thus far. As for Grissom, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
