Pace waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cuero Gobblers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since August 22nd.

Andrea Salgado had a dynamite game, getting 20 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave her a new career-high.

Pace's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Cuero, they moved to 16-12 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Pace has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Jones on the 30th. As for Cuero, they will welcome Calallen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
