Baseball Recap: North Brunswick Victorious

North Brunswick pushed their score to 12 the last time they played South Brunswick, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. North Brunswick had just enough and edged out South Brunswick 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Tyler Kelly looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. North Brunswick is 4-2 when Kelly allowstwo or fewer hits, but 1-4 otherwise.

At the plate, Aydean White was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

North Brunswick's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for South Brunswick, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
