Baseball Recap: Oberlin Takes a Loss

Oberlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 16-7 to the Grand Lake Hornets. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to the Hornets when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oberlin's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Grand Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.

While Oberlin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
