Volleyball Recap: Land O' Lakes Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Land O' Lakes waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls. This was payback for the Gators, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Land O' Lakes walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 27-29, 25-21, 26-18.

Land O' Lakes' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amelia Colon led the charge by getting 22 digs and three aces. Colon is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 30 games she's played dating back to last season. Liv Maita was another key player, getting 11 kills and seven digs.

They weren't the only good server: Land O' Lakes was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

The win got Land O' Lakes back to even at 5-5. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they moved to 9-3 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Land O' Lakes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Steinbrenner on the 19th. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they will face off against Zephyrhills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
