Volleyball Recap: Texico Wins Going Away Against Jal

Jal typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Texico proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in October.

Texico was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 25-17.

Kinzee Crow paced Texico's offense, picking up 21 kills. Crow got some help from Kailie Wieland and her 22 assists. Wieland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Texico pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Jal, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10.

As of now, neither Texico nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
