Thousand Islands fell victim to Tupper Lake and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks 46-0. Tupper Lake had a senior duo take command as Wyatt Godin rushed for 66 yards and three touchdowns and Brayden Shannon rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. The dominant performance gave Godin a new career-high in rushing yards.

Thousand Islands now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Tupper Lake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thousand Islands will square off against Bishop Grimes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tupper Lake, they are taking a road trip to challenge Morrisville-Eaton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
