Recap: Talawanda Brave vs. Harrison Wildcats
The Talawanda Brave were the 61-54 winner over the Harrison Wildcats when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Talawanda was dealt a 62-25 loss at the hands of Harrison on Wednesday. Talawanda was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-12.
Harrison's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alli Robertson, who scored 20 points. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Robertson has scored at least 25% of Harrison's points. Another player making a difference was Shelby Piepmeier, who scored 14 points.
Talawanda now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Harrison, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
Talawanda will head out on the road to face off against East Central at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. East Central is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Harrison, they will be playing at home against Anderson at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
