Volleyball Recap: Northpoint Christian's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Northpoint Christian came tearing into Saturday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

While Northpoint Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22.

Chrissy Nolen paced Northpoint Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Nolen got some help from Sarah Johnson and her 22 assists. Harper Crowder controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northpoint Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-10 record this season.

Northpoint Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against First Assembly Christian on the 22nd. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lewisburg on the 20th.
