Basketball Game Preview: Armstrong Trojans vs. Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes

The Armstrong Trojans will challenge the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Armstrong's tournament run continued when they took on Salt Fork on Saturday. Armstrong fell 47-39 to Salt Fork. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 63 points the game before, Georgetown-Ridge Farm was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They took a blow against Westville, falling 59-28. The Buffaloes haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Armstrong's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.

Armstrong couldn't quite finish off Georgetown-Ridge Farm when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 53-50. Can Armstrong avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
