Volleyball Recap: Viewmont Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cyprus on Tuesday, Viewmont came back down to earth. The Vikings came up short against the Woods Cross Wildcats on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-11.

Klancee Larsen paced Viewmont's offense, picking up nine kills. Larsen got some help from Miya Edgington and her 14 assists.

Viewmont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Woods Cross, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Viewmont has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Brighton on the 2nd. As for Woods Cross, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Farmington on the 4th.
